Voting Tips and Freebies! by Tammy Todd
Hey Friends!
Just a few tips for voting today.
1. Bring your id
2. Double check that you are at the CORRECT polling place.
If you didn't register to vote because you were having a major ten month surgical procedure VOTE ANYWAY because you can.
3. Bring your ID and a proof of address like a bill or paycheck stub.
You should ask for a provisional ballot and let the poll worker know that you didn't register in advance.
4. If someone trys to prevent you from voting, insists that you vote for a certain candidate (I once went to a polling place where a poll worker yelled out every time a person voted democrat)
call the elections board or call CNN. Seriously. They will call for you. Their number is 1-877-GOCNN-08.
5. Have fun and lots of companies are giving out freebies if you vote today. Check it out online.
Afterwards. you can reward yourself with a big ole bowl of corn.
